junior project manager
Job Description
The junior project manager acts as a support to the various departments essential to the good management of projects. S/he is directly involved in all stages of the project, from shop drawings to delivery to the site. S/he must demonstrate proactivity and exemplary organization. Your rigor should allow you to learn all the basics of the trade until you are able to manage entire projects.
Responsibilities
- Support senior project managers in their daily tasks 
- Plan deadlines 
- Attend customer meetings and document them 
- Make sample requests and control product quality 
- Validate and transmit approval and manufacturing drawings 
- Prepare price requests and liaise with the estimation department 
- Take site surveys 
- Administer the progressive invoicing of projects 
- Coordinate the installation on the sites 
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant experience in a related field 
- Knowledge of cabinetmaking or construction an asset 
- Good reading of plans 
- Possess a valid driver's license 
- Be able to travel to the United States 
- Knowledge of Autocad and Bluebeam an asset 
- Fluency in spoken and written English
