Job Description

The junior project manager acts as a support to the various departments essential to the good management of projects. S/he is directly involved in all stages of the project, from shop drawings to delivery to the site. S/he must demonstrate proactivity and exemplary organization. Your rigor should allow you to learn all the basics of the trade until you are able to manage entire projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior project managers in their daily tasks

  • Plan deadlines

  • Attend customer meetings and document them

  • Make sample requests and control product quality

  • Validate and transmit approval and manufacturing drawings

  • Prepare price requests and liaise with the estimation department

  • Take site surveys

  • Administer the progressive invoicing of projects

  • Coordinate the installation on the sites

Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant experience in a related field

  • Knowledge of cabinetmaking or construction an asset

  • Good reading of plans

  • Possess a valid driver's license

  • Be able to travel to the United States

  • Knowledge of Autocad and Bluebeam an asset

  • Fluency in spoken and written English
